Is it overcooked…that’s what “they” say. Does your family like it…that’s all that matters. These “judges” can say yay or nay…but ultimately it comes down to what your family likes.

Dont listen to everyone saying they’re over done. Plenty of people prefer their ribs “fall off the bone.” I like em bite and tear and fall of the bone both are good. Women usually prefer that latter

Any chance you probed them for temp? If so, what temp were they when you took the photo?

Enjoy your ribs, the purist “competition” style smokers in here don’t understand home cooking.

    Obligatory overcooked comment

Ribs are my favorite food. Hot and fast party style, fall off the bone, little bit of tug, dry, wet, 321, beef, pork, baby back, St. Louis, Dino, even Chinese food appetizer ribs, they’re just so hard to mess up.

People say “overcooked” but I love my ribs like this.

Nobody is pissed about short ribs that fall apart completely and I see ribs the same

Looks delicious, just made smoked three rack yesterday. Dinner is going to be good for the night shift the next three nights. I don’t mind clean bone ribs at all

  9. RamblinLamb

I got my bag o peanut M&M’s, let’s do this!!

  10. i like pizza well done, my wings crispy, and my ribs tender.

  11. Weary_Necessary_2434

Did you boil them? They look boiled, then slathered in sauce, and thrown on a cold grill.

  12. ComfortableCup328

I would eat the shit out of them but pulled pork is a lot cheaper from a shoulder.

  13. Weary_Button4535

Hey man, it’s okay if your meat is limp. Sometimes you just can’t get it up.

  14. Truckyouinthebutt

If they are moist they aren’t over cooked. Looks great my dude

  15. Some people say fall off the bone is overcooked. I say if it ain’t in a competition make them how you like them. I would 100% smack on these.

  16. BreakfastFluid9419

Omg those would never fly in a competition supposed to hold up to a bite these are trash!!! (My mouth is a trash can fill’er up)

  17. These look awesome. I’ve been cooking my ribs to the competition bite point and looking at this made me say, “why?”. I like’em more like this and less when they have a bite. I’m gonna change my cook up a little and I think I’ll enjoy them more. Garlic mashed potatoes on the side!

  18. epsteinwasmurdered2

Cook em how you like em… that being said, I prefer mine a little “cooler” than this and would say I over cooked them if they were my cook.

I like to be able to twist and pull out the rib clean but also like to have a clean bite wi to some pull when I bite into them.

Either way as long as you like em keep cooking them that way!! 🍻

  19. jhallen2260

If that’s how you like em, good for you. Not my style though

  20. luckyjayhawk69

Over cooked, but looks moist still, I’m sure they taste great. Looks like some good smoke on the meat too. Good job.

  21. ghoulcreep

I love fall off the bone but some people have the wrong opinion

  22. Simple-Purpose-899

If you like them that way then they’re perfect.

  23. I do not like ribs the way my mother likes ribs.

I make food to order. ❤️

  24. Apart_Tutor8680

    #make ribs simple again.

My favourite way is about 5.5 hours at 225 without even lifting the lid. They’ve squirted their own fat before when hit with a knife. Not quite melted enough to fall off the bone. But perfectly juicy.

    Yeah….
A little too bendy for us…
Unless we are doing a giant McRib! Which, I am not ashamed to say, we have. So… There’s that.

  27. Perhaps it’s because I grew up with tough meat but this looks really nice to me

  28. Slimmdunkin

Not how I like em. Gotta have the bite but to teach their own

  29. faaaaabulousneil

Those did not pass the bend test. Probably still hella tasty though.

  30. It’s is all opinion but I don’t want fall off I wanna be able to eat the meat off the bone and get a little snap Bottom line if you like them then go

  31. These_System_9669

They’re a bit overcooked but still look great. A lot of wiggle room with ribs
